Deus - Festival of the V-Twin 2011

This was an awesome day out for a perv on some precious metal. Deus may be on the pricey end of the scale in terms of customs but i think they do an incredible job, just check out the custom MT-01 orange street tracker in the first photograph and youll agree.

Do the Ton!

Ive always had a soft spot for cafe racers and the huge culture behind it. Back in the 50's when men were men, you took an ordinary bike, stripped it to a bare minimum leaving all the bits you needed, stick an engine in it that had enough power to pull the moon out of orbit. Screw on a pair of clip-ons and you had yourself a cafe racer.

No introduction needed...

One of the most iconic motorcycles of all time and one of the most copied as well, the Ducati Monster. This has been Ducatis biggest selling motorcycle since its release in the early 90's and has a massive cult following all over the world.

Combination of all things

Pistons, sprockets, cables, clutch covers, header pipes, a dash carbon fibre and yep even a chassis its all in here, why? I have no idea, it just is... a combination of all things.

Shattering

I have always been fascinated by BMW's asymmetrical headlight designs and this is no exception, personally i love the look of this bike especially in the motorrad livery colors. So i mocked this up one day from being home sick with the flu.
Trying to make the "ribbon" flowing through the bike look like its disintegrating was challenging to say the least but patience paid off.

Are you at peace?

True story, i was talking to a work colleague the other week and was telling me about this courier driver he knew that used to deliver goods to a motorcycle wreckers shop. The courier walks in and looks around and sees all these brand new written off motorcycles some of them were R1's some were Fireblades all different types of bikes and most didnt have more than 50 kms on the odometer. The courier turns to the supervisor at the wreckers and asks, whats the story with all these bikes? the supervisor says "mate these are the bikes that never made it home"
